ADVICE OF RASOOLULLAH (S.A.W)

TO THE MUJAHIDEEN FIGHTING IN THE PATH OF ALLAH

Know – May Allah have mercy on you – that the advice of Rasoolullah (S.A.W) is present in everything that he has prescribed of commandments, prohibitions, the Sunan, and that which he has encouraged ofbehavior, ethics and morals. When the Sahabah were asked regarding the advice of Rasoolullah (S.A.W) they said; ‘He enjoined them (to adhere to) the Book of Allah.’

From this perspective in understanding the meaning of the advice of Rasoolullah (S.A.W), we will narrate the Saheeh Hadeeth that the Mujahid in the Path of Allah Aza wa Jal may derive benefit from in his daily lifeand follow through its practice the Shari’ah and avoid that which it has forbidden. And he adorns himself with Islamic characteristics in order to be a role model and have beautiful conduct that is witnessed by the Muslim people to lead them to the Shari’ah.

The general populace and people look to the individuals, leaders and groups of the Mujahideen as a living example of those who have carried the message of Islam and the laws of the Shari’ah. For this reason we have to be at the required level and recognize the value of the rank that Allah Aza wa Jal has honored us with in this era , and the magnitude of what a person takes upon himself through Jihad in the Path of Allah Ta’ala for the sake of the Word of Allah to be supreme.

Jihad in the Path of Allah is fighting, a Da’wah (propagation), morality, teaching, and good behavior until we achieve noble characteristics and bring it into the homes of the Muslims following (the example of) the Master of the Prophets and the Mercy to mankind, Muhammed (S.A.W).

CHAPTER: WHICH QUALITY IN ISLAM IS BEST?

The following is an English summary of the Joint statement by several prominent Jihadi scholars on ISIS in The Caucasus:

Fitnah in Kavkaz.

It have reached us that the fitnah of Jamaat al Dawlah have reached Kavkaz and split the ranks and the focus have changed from the enemy(Russia) to towards each others.

We clearly denounce this Khilafah and that it is batil as the Ulamah from our time have clarified and the Ulamah before us. As Khilafah can not come without Ahl ul hal wal Aqd.

The famous hadith of Umar ibn Khattab is mentioned in length;
“Whoever gives bayah to a man without the shura of the muslims then there is no bayah to him…”

and the words of Shaykh ul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah:

“If Umar and a group with him managed to give bayah to Abu Bakr and the rest of the Sahaba refuses then he(Abu Bakr) would not become Imam then, rather Abu Bakr became Imam by the bayah of Jumhoor al Sahaba…”

The Khilafah will be established by fulfilling its shuroot and removing its Maoun3 (obstacles) and protecting the Ummah from the invading enemy as the crusaders and their allies. 

This move (Khilafah) have created rifts between the mujahideen and made Mujahideen break their oaths and this is even worse when the Mujahideen are in hard conditions as in Kavkaz.

“And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.” [8:46].

The Khilafah is for uniting the ranks and not splitting them and whoever does this (split the ranks) should ask for forgivness and go away from this act and it is obligatory in Shariah to uphold your vows “And fulfill [every] commitment. Indeed, the commitment is ever [that about which one will be] questioned.” [17:34]

It is known that the Mujahideen in Kavkaz have given bayah to Shaykh Abu Muhammad al-Dagestani Hafidahullah and that upholding this bayah is wajib and haram to break it as mentioned in the evidence listed before (*I didnt include all of the evidences) and it is a blessing from Allah upon the mujahideen in Kavkaz that He has made their leader a man among ahl ul ilm and that he is on the path of Khattab and Shamil and Abu Walid and Doku Umarov RahimahumAllah.

The breaking of bayah to Shaykh Abu Muhammad is NOT an act of kufr and does not make the unlawful blood lawful!

We advice the Mujahideen in Kavkaz to remove this rift between them and whatever disagreement they have to refer it back to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of his Prophet Sallahu aleyhi wa salam and to consult the Ulamah of Ilm and the experienced Mujahideen and not the ignorants with no Shari knowlegde;

“So ask the people of the message if you do not know.” [16:43]

The opinion of Shaykh Abdullah Azzam – RA – on the issue of taking slaves/concubines which is similar to the situation we have today:

“And then if you’d ask for a fatwa from the zealous Arab youth that arrived to Peshawar and studied some fiqh, or so-and-so studied hadith;

‘Is it allowed to take Russian women, those that are in the battlefield and fight against the Muslims and then we captured them.. is it allowed to take them as concubines?!’

Of course the answer would be; ‘Yes according to the Shaykh so-and-so.’

And I say to him: It is not allowed for you, and also it’s is haram for you [to do so].. Why?!
Because if we were to take the Russian women, then they would take a hundred of Muslim women and violate their chastity… so should we then give a fatwa permitting this or forbidding it?!

If the taking of a single one as a concubine would lead to the violation of honor of a hundred of Muslim women, should we then give a fatwa of it’s permissibility or forbiddance?!
Thus, it’s a must for the one who gives a fatwa on a issue that he knows the details of the matter, and the place and situation that you are in, what is it really that you’re giving fatwa about?!

It’s imperative that you understand the subject completely based on the reality on the ground, not by looking into the matter as a personal theory in [issues of] Jihad.”

Some advise regarding Takfeer

I say to my brothers that the method of Ahlus Sunnah is that if a person enters Islam with certainty he will not exit Islam except with certainty. So the origin of the Muslims is that they are Muslims, so it is not allowed for the people to make takfeer on them, rather that is of the beliefs of the Khawarij and There is no Power nor Might except with Allah.

In the authentic hadeeth of our Messenger salallahu alayhi wa salam he said:

“If a person says to his brother “Oh disbeliever” then one of them has drawn it upon himself”

If the one who has been called a disbeliever is a disbeliever then that’s done with, he is a disbeliever. if he wasn’t a disbeliever then it returns to the one who said it (ie the takfeer). So this is a big, great, great, great warning of falling into those issues and especially making takfeer of the individual.

So fear Allah and know that for the victory that we are waiting for from Allah we have to show to Allah patience and taqwa. But if you remain patient and have taqwah, not the least harm will their plotting do to you.

So be cautious and again be cautions because making takfeer on the people is from the very dangerous greatest sins so guard your tongues. Continue reading

The Greatest Blessing

My Mujāhid Brother:

The Muslim feels much happiness with the blessings that Allāh causes to transpire to him and motivate him and remind him of the greatness of Allāh’s bounty upon him. And although not every blessing is a blessing in reality – for it might be a trial for the slave and an enticement for him, or other than that – there remains the blessing of the honors that are indisputably nothing but the Grace which our Lord, عزّ وجل, bestows upon the best of His creation, and the most beloved of them to Him was our Prophet Muhammad, صلى الله عليه وسلم.

Indeed it is the blessing of “maintaining steadfastness” and not being affected by the misguidance and deception of those who are astray, as Allāh Ta’ālā says,

 
وَلَوْلاَ فَضْلُ اللّهِ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لَهَمَّت طَّآئِفَةٌ مُّنْهُمْ أَن يُضِلُّوكَ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلاُّ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَضُرُّونَكَ مِن شَيْءٍ وَأَنزَلَ اللّهُ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمْ تَكُنْ تَعْلَمُ وَكَانَ فَضْلُ اللّهِ عَلَيْكَ عَظِيمًا
 
Had not the Grace of Allāh and His Mercy been upon you (O Muhammad), a party of them would certainly have made a decision to mislead you, but (in fact) they mislead none except their own selves, and no harm can they do to you in the least. Allāh has sent down to you the Book (The Qur’ān), and Al-­Hikmah (the Prophet’s Sunnah), and taught you that which you knew not. And Ever Great is the Grace of Allāh unto you (O Muhammad) [1]

And in the Chapter that follows it, Allāh عزّ وجل says, warning His Prophet about these misguided pursuers of Fitnah:

وَأَنِ احْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ أَن يَفْتِنُوكَ عَن بَعْضِ مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ إِلَيْكَ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ أَن يُصِيبَهُم بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ لَفَاسِقُونَ
 
And so judge (you O Muhammad) between them by what Allāh has revealed and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they turn you far away from some of that which Allāh has sent down to you. And if they turn away, then know that Allāh’s Will is to punish them for some sins of theirs. And truly, most of men are Fāsiqūn (rebellious and disobedient to Allāh) [2]


And despite the fact that the believer of all time periods understands the greatness of this virtue, it is the believer during the period of estrangement (Ghurbah) that [reaches] the highest degree of absorption and understanding of the greatness of this Divine blessing, especially when he sees the plenitude of those around him who lapsed without attaining what [they] sought after – and there is no Might or Power except with Allāh. So these situations increase the believer in faith and in deference, and they increase him in his turning to and his need of Allāh, and they increase him in contempt and scorn for himself.

Exactly as the Companions, may Allāh be pleased with them, used to act.

So you see, for example, the guided and directed Imām, the legal expert, [the one] who was given the glad tidings of Paradise and Deliverance – ‘Umar Bin Al-Khattāb, may Allāh be pleased with him, was copious in his weeping over himself and his fear over himself from the sources of hypocrisy, so he would say to Hudhayfah, may Allāh be pleased with him, “I ask you by Allāh, did the Messenger of Allāh count me as one of the hypocrites?”

And Ibn Abī Mulaykah said, “I met thirty of the Prophet’s companions, صلى الله عليه وسلم, and all of them feared for himself from hypocrisy.”

So because of this, they were, may Allāh be pleased with them, the best of the people in action, and the most copious of them in fear, and the most severe of them in accounting themselves due to the glorification of Allāh that was established in their hearts, and their knowledge of His being entitled to a hundred times the worship and submission that the slaves perform.

And due to this Divine consciousness in their hearts, may Allāh be pleased with them, the Messenger of Allāh, صلى الله عليه وسلم, made their methodology the standard next to which no other is acknowledged. So in the Hadīth, “‘And this Ummah will divide into 73 sects, all of them in the Hellfire except one.’ So they [the Companions] said, ‘Which one is it, O Messenger of Allāh?’ He said, ‘Those who were upon what I and my companions are upon today'” [3]. And because of this, the one who seeks to take an example should take them as an example, may Allāh be pleased with them, especially if the strangeness of the Religion heightens and the helpers and the supporters are few in number.

The Strangeness of the Religion:

Yes. “Islām began [as something] strange and it will return to being [something] strange as it began, so Tūbā for the strangers.”[4]

Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allāh have mercy upon him, said, “Its [i.e. Islām’s] Ghurbah (estrangement) is greatest when those who once entered into it forsake it…” until he said, “So indeed no party forsakes Islām except that Allāh brings a people He loves who will fight on His behalf, and they are the Victorious Party until the Hour is established. And this demonstrates that He mentioned this in the context of prohibiting alliance with the disbelievers. So He, Ta’ālā, said,

Ruling on insulting Allah, His Messenger and making fun of the religion and its people

Question:

What is the Islamic Ruling on insulting the religion of Islam, Allah The Most High, or the messenger peace and blessings be upon him, because cursing the religion is a wide spread phenomenon on the mouths of the young and elder nowadays? And what is the Ruling on mocking and making fun of the people of this religion and its scholars?

Answer:

All praise due to Allah,

The scholars of this Umma from the past and the present have agreed that cursing Allah, or cursing one of His messengers and making fun out of the religion is disbelief in Allah the Greatest, which takes the one who commits it out of the fold of Islam.

So whomsoever curses Allah, or one of His messengers, he will become Murtad [an apostate] from Islam and separated of the community of Muslims, he will be killed in any circumstance, and he will not be able to make Tauba [repent].

The messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

عَنْ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: “من بدل دينه فاقتلوه.” رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ

“He who changes his religion [i.e. apostates] kill him.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari]

And the messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

عن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: “لا يحل دم امرئ مسلم يشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، وأني رسول الله، إلا بإحدى ثلاث: الثيّب الزاني، والنفس بالنفس، والتارك لدينه المفارق للجماعة.” رواه البخاري ومسلم

“It is not permissible to spill the blood of a Muslim except in three [instances]: the married person who commits adultery, a life for a life, and the one who forsakes his religion and separates from the community.” [Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim] So he mentions “the one who forsakes his religion and separates from the community of Muslims.

And the ruling on the disbelief of this person, and the obligation to kill him, is on both the person who is serious and the one who’s joking, whether he believes its permissible or not. Allah Ta’ala said:

وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّمَا كُنَّا نَخُوضُ وَنَلْعَبُ ۚ قُلْ أَبِاللَّهِ وَآيَاتِهِ وَرَسُولِهِ كُنتُمْ تَسْتَهْزِئُونَ لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا قَدْ كَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ

If you ask them [about this], they declare: “We were only talking idly and joking.” Say: “Was it at Allah, and His Ayat and His Messenger that you were mocking?” Make no excuses, you have disbelieved after having had faith.” [at-Tauba: 65-66]

Killing this apostate has a lot of benefits as result:

1. Implementing the ruling on such a person is an required matter in Shari’ah. The messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

قال عليه الصلاة والسلام: لحدٌ يقام في الأرض خيرٌ لها من أن تمطر سبعين خريفًا

“Implementing one Ruling [of Allah] on earth is better for her than to rain for 70 autumns.” Or, as he peace and blessings be upon him said.

2. With his killing, means this person being a plague ends, and his evilness will die with him, and the community will be free of his deviation and trying deviating others.

3. With his killing, those who’s souls were tempting them to encroach on Allah The Most High, or one of His messengers by insulting them or making fun out of them, will be deterred. That why it is an obligation on the Ruler of a Land wherein a person makes this insult, to implement the ruling of Allah The Most High, which is killing without having chance for repentance.

And this ruling that i mentioned is regarding the cursing/slandering, and this is the opinion of those who call themselves Scholars.

And i will mention some of the sayings of the Scholars who stated this issue with consensus:

The first one, Imam Abu Umar ibn ‘Abd al-Barr:

الإمام أبو عمر بن عبد البر، قال: ومن شتم الله تبارك وتعالى أو شتم رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم أو شتم نبياًّ من أنبياء الله صلوات الله عليهم؛ قتل، إذا كان مظهراً للإسلام، بلا استتابة

“Whomsoever curses Allah The Most High, or curses the messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) or curses a prophet of the prophets of Allah (صلوات الله عليهم), he must be killed, if he’s showing Islam [on the outside], without [having chance for] repentance.”  

The second one, Sulayman ibn Abdullah Aal As-Shaykh:

سليمان بن عبد الله آل الشيخ، قال: فمن استهزأ بالله أو بكتابه أو برسوله أو بدينه، ولو هازلاً لم يقصد حقيقة الاستهزاء؛ كفر إجماعًا

“Whomsoever mocks Allah, His Book [Quran], His messenger or His religion, even if he was joking and didn’t mean to mock, is a Kaafir with consensus.”

The third one, al-Qaadhi ‘Iyaadh:

القاضي عياض رحمه الله، قال: لا خلاف أن ساب الله تعالى من المسلمين؛ كافر حلال الدم

“There is no disagreement [amongst the scholars] that the insulter of Allah among the Muslims, is a Kafir who’s blood became Halal.”

The fourth one, Abu Muhammad ‘Ali ibn Hazm:

أبو محمد علي بن حزم، قال: أما سب الله تعالى؛ فما على ظهر الأرض مسلم يخالف في أنه كفر مجرد

“As for insulting Allah, there is not a single Muslim on the back of this earth, disagrees that it is merely Kufr.”

This is what i have, and we ask Allah to give victory to His religion and to Raise His Word, verily He is capable of all, and may His peace and blessings be upon our messenger Muhammad, his household and companions.

Sanctity of Muslim Blood In Islam

We in the organization of AQAP assert the following:

  1. Preventing explosions and using whatever methods would prevail and widen killing in mosques, common places of Muslims like markets, playing grounds, etc in Muslim lands whatever the target is. We do this to keep jihadi issues on the right course also as a cautious procedure and to avoid mistakes and harms.
  2. Preventing working with fatwa of ‘Tartarus’ (To target infidel enemies mixed with Muslims in same places) and never be used except in a situation of necessary which is determined by reliable Islamic scholars.
  3. No one is allowed to issue fatwa (legal verdicts)in matters of martyrdom operations except who has the following conditions:
  • Firmness in the science of Sharia, understanding of Sharia’s purposes and fiqh (knowledge) of advantages and disadvantages.
  • Accurate knowledge of the reality, circumstances and motives of these operations.
  1. Leaders of Mujahideen everywhere should teach the Mujahideen brothers in general and the fidayeen (martyrdom operation executors) in particular whatever knowledge is required for such operations so that he won’t go to strike a suspicious or doubtful or disputable or controversial target, and never attack any target (by such kind of operations) unless he is sure about it 100% and feels totally assured that the target is legal in Islam and the striking will please Allah Almighty.
  2. We assert to the leading brothers of Mujahideen to advice the martyrdom seekers and be careful in the highest way from sending them to strike suspicious or doubtful targets.
  3. We remind the martyrdom seeking brothers themselves that if they would undertake an operation without verification and foresight then they would be neglectful. How many people want to be righteous but could not!
  4. In the end! We declare to Allah that we are not responsible for any prohibitive blood in islam that would be spilled and we ask Allah for refuge from misleading events. Aameen.
