In a video released today (21/11/2014) Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula rejected the khilafa of Abu Bakr Al Baqdadi and accused him of splitting the ranks of the Mujahideen and spreading the fitna.
This comes a week after Al Bagdadi accepted bayyah from a small group in Yemen and declared as a result that all groups in Yemen, such as Al Qaeda, where dissolved. This comes at a time when AQAP are involved in widespread clashes with the Houthis and are being bombed by the Crusaders.
The statement also reaffirmed AQAP’s bayyah to Shaykh Ayman Al Zawihari and Mullah Umar and puts an end to lies which have been spread saying AQAP would give bayyah to Al Bagdadi.
